Unlike traditional bronze, bell metal bronze has nearly double the tin concentration. The higher tin-to-copper ratio increases the rigidity of the metal, creating more resonant and full sounding bowls. Regular bronze and brass bowls simply cannot compete on the quality of both sound and vibration. \n\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\n- Each item included in your purchase, from the bowl to the mallets, cushions and wrapping paper is handmade in Nepal. Our mallets are made with renewable, wild-crafted hardwood cuttings from the native Sal tree and handmade wool. Our bowls are wrapped in handmade lokta paper, gathered from a renewable reed plant. Our cushions are sewn by women’s protective collectives.
